This product is the sixth innovative Class III medical device approved for listing in our province, and it is the second product of its kind successfully listed by Jinjiang Electronics after its first independently developed disposable cardiac pulsed electric field ablation catheter.
This catheter is used in conjunction with the cardiac pulsed ablation instrument researched and produced by Jinjiang Electronics, mainly for the treatment of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. Its innovation lies in the integration of focused electric field technology and multi-dimensional three-dimensional pressure sensing technology, which can display the catheter position and the pressure monitoring value at the tip in real time, effectively improving surgical efficiency and reducing the incidence of cardiac perforation complications in patients. This is an important manifestation of China's cardiac electrophysiology technology transitioning from catching up to leading the way.
In recent years, the Sichuan Provincial Drug Administration has continuously increased its support for innovative medical devices, further leveraging the role of the Sichuan Service Station for Medical Device Innovation of the National Medical Products Administration's Center for Medical Device Evaluation, implementing pre-review, intervening early in the research and registration of innovative medical devices, organizing special teams to provide full-process tracking guidance, and continuously helping to improve the industry's research and innovation capabilities.
The Sichuan Provincial Drug Administration will strengthen post-market supervision of this product to protect patient safety.
